All Saints Holiday Club 2024
All Saints Holiday Club 2024 was truly out of this world! Running from Tuesday 6th August to Friday 9th August, with a special celebration service on Sunday 11th August, this year's event was a stellar success.
Back in September 2023, a dedicated core team of six embarked on a mission to plan, organise, and create cosmic ideas for this year’s Holiday Club. With the support of around 30 enthusiastic volunteers, we transformed the church and grounds at Denmead into a space-themed adventure that even NASA might have wanted to witness.
Despite a rainy start on Tuesday, our spirits remained unphased as we launched into four days of excitement. Over 40 children, ages 4 to 11, from our community joined us each day for a journey filled with vibrant songs, engaging Bible stories, heartfelt prayers, fun games, creative crafts, and more. Throughout this galactic journey, the children made new friends and discovered just how much God loves us—one small step in faith, one giant leap into His everlasting love.
It has been such a privilege to be part of the core team that, together, prayed, planned, and executed this amazing week. Alongside the wider team, who worked tirelessly to ensure each day was a success, we’ve created something truly special. Now, as we take a moment to rest and recharge, we’re already looking forward to starting the plans for next year’s adventure.
