All Saints Holiday Club 2025 – Explorers: The Greatest Story
This summer, All Saints was transformed into “Base Camp” for an incredible adventure! From 11–14 August, more than 50 children every day joined us as explorers on a journey through The Greatest Story ever told.
With maps in hand, songs on our lips, and plenty of laughter along the way, we travelled together through four amazing adventures:
-
The Desert – where we discovered the miraculous birth of Jesus, God’s gift of love and hope for the whole world.
-
The Mountains – where Jesus fed 5,000 people with just five loaves and two fish, showing how God can do big things with even the smallest offering.
-
The Sea – where Jesus walked on water, reminding us that we can find courage and peace when He is with us.
-
The Cave – where we celebrated the greatest treasure of all: Jesus’ resurrection and the hope of life forever with Him.
Every day was packed with songs, games, drama, crafts, small group fun, and lots (and lots!) of snacks. But more than that, each day gave us a glimpse of the biggest treasure of all: that God’s love is for everyone.
We are so thankful for the 30+ brilliant volunteers who gave their time, energy, and love to make the week possible, and for every family who joined in the fun. Most of all, we give thanks to God for filling our week with joy, laughter, friendship, and hope.
Holiday Club may be over for this year, but the adventure doesn’t end here. We’d love to keep exploring together as a church family, and we’re already looking forward to next summer.
In the meantime, there are plenty of ways for children, young people, and families to stay connected: from 'Little Stars', our baby and toddler group meeting every Friday during term times, to our Children's and youth groups, Sunday Services at 10am, and fun family events throughout the year with 'Jesus Light Up Denmead'. Everyone is welcome, whether you’ve been to church before or not — we’d love for you to come along and be part of the adventure with us.
