Light Up Denmead!
Pumpkin carving competition
12th - 31st October (results will be published on the 1st November)
How it works:
Carve a smiley, happy pumpkin face with your child/ren
Make sure to include your child's age with your photo. Should you wish for your child's name to also be included (especially if selected as a winner) then please talk to them and ask if they are happy for this to be displayed.
- Carvings must represent a smiling or happy face
- We can only accept a maximum of two images, at least one of which must show the light shining
- 0-5 years category can carve or paint their pumpkin
Entries for this competition will close at 12noon on the 31st October, with results being revealed at 12noon on the 1st of November.
There will be one winner selected from each age group. the winning entry will be published on our Facebook page and our website. winners will be contacted using the details from their entry and a prize will be delivered by hand at a convenient time.
Light in the Darkness - Photography Challenge

A fun and creative way to expand your photography skills, try out your camera and look with mindfulness for light in the darkness.
Whether it be sparklers, glow sticks, candles or torches; a hand stretching to help or a sign of some light in these dark times - we are looking for your artistic interpretations to share for all to enjoy light in these dark times.
