Our Mission Partners
Here at All Saints Church, Denmead we support and work in partnership with five main missionary organisations.
We regularly pray for these mission partners, we receive and send news, support their projects and initiatives, as well as support financially.
The Children’s Society says this:
We are a national charity that works with the country’s most vulnerable children and young people.
We listen. We support. We act. Because no child should feel alone. We worked with over 11,000 vulnerable children and young people last year, while our policy changes will improve the lives of more than half a million children.
Friends Without Borders supports asylum seekers, refugees and immigrants in the Portsmouth area.
They provide a drop-in project giving clients a safe place to meet and professionally access advice and advocacy.
They provide specially trained Access to Justice Volunteers who give free legal advice to those who need it.

In today’s ‘connected world’, the irony is that never have so many people been so isolated. Flying onto desert and jungle airstrips, lakes and rivers, tracks and roads, MAF’s light aircraft and their mission pilots go the extra miles to provide a lifeline.
Working in partnership with hundreds of other Christian and relief organisations, MAF enables practical help, physical healing, and spiritual hope to be delivered to many of the most remote and inaccessible communities on the planet. For 70 years, MAF has been flying for life.

We are a community of people who have been set free to follow God’s call in mission. Thousands of people from all walks of life are part of Church Mission Society – praying, learning and acting together in pursuit of that call.
We believe every Christian – and ultimately every person – is called to join in God's mission and has the potential to bring challenge, change, hope and freedom to the world. We all have a part to play.
Spring 2020 - At All Saints we have just begun to support a young family working in SE Asia who are working to support and help people dealing with addictions and adults with Special Educational Needs. To find out more about this family please speak to Angela Herring or Nicola Ellis who will be able to share more details.

At All Saints we support Portsmouth Diocese link with West Africa. Our Deanery of Havant is linked with the Diocese of Koforidua, Ghana.
As a church we are linked to St Paul’s, Tafo. Over the years we have worked in close partnership with several visits taking place.
To find out more please visit the link page at Portsmouth Diocese.
We support the nation-wide Christian Aid week each May.
CHRISTIAN AID WEEK 2020 is from Sunday May 10th to Saturday May 16th but this year there will be no familiar red envelopes dropped through your letterbox and sadly NO complimentary delicious cakes and refreshments on the Saturday morning!
BUT Christian Aid, like so many charities still need their fundraising income – so if you cannot physically fill that envelope you can still donate in 2 ways:
You can post a cheque direct to: Christian Aid, 35-41 Lower Marsh, LONDON. SE1 7RL
Or follow this link for an e-envelope.
