Sunday 26th October – Last Sunday after Trinity
Remember the clocks go back this morning!
This week the readings are 2 Timothy 4: 6-8 and 16-18, and Luke 18: 9-14
At 8am we gather for a traditional BCP Communion Service Revd. Emma will preside and Peter Mitchell, our Licensed Lay Minister (Reader)will preach.
At 10 am we gather for Morning Worship Revd. Emma will lead and Peter Mitchell, our Licensed Lay Minister (Reader) will preach. There are no groups for our young people and children. We welcome the family and friends of Kit Judd to celebrate his Baptism during the service. After the service all are welcome to come through to the church hall for refreshments.
Sunday 2nd November – All Saints Day
This week the readings are Ephesians 1: 11-end and Luke 6: 20-31.
At 8am we gather for a traditional BCP Holy Communion Service Revd. Emma will preside and Canon David Power will preach.
At 10am we gather for a Holy Communion with Prayer Ministry and groups for Kids and Youth at Ten. Revd. Emma will lead and preside, and Canon David Power will preach. This service will be live streamed. All are welcome to stay for refreshments served in our church hall after the service.
Walk 100 Miles in October 2025 Challenge
This October, I will be walking 100 miles to help raise money for Breast Cancer Now, for their life-changing breast cancer research and vital support for patients and their families. www.breastcancernow.org

Lewis Jones – Sick Leave
Lewis remains on sick leave at the moment. Please be praying for Lewis, Sophie and family.
Placement
Revd. Buffy will be away 13th October – 9th November on placement at The Rowans Hospice. Buffy will however be back on Sundays only and helping to cover Youth at Ten.
Friday 31st October – Blood Transfusion Service
Please note that the Blood transfusion service will be using the hall and Heath room from 11am so the car park will be busy today.
Saturday 1st November 7pm - All Souls – a Service of Reflection, Remembrance and Thanksgiving
Each year we have a special All Souls Service of Reflection, Remembrance and Thanksgiving, to remember all those who have died, particularly those who have died in recent years.
This is a lovely, quiet, and contemplative service and you are warmly invited to attend, along with any relatives and friends who would like to join us. There will be an opportunity to light a candle in remembrance of the person who died.
A list will be left at the back of the church, and you are welcome to add the names of relatives/friends who have died, and these will be read out at the All-Souls Service.

Christmas Carol Service Choir 2025
This year's carol service will be on Friday 19th December starting at 7pm.
As in previous years, we would very much like to form a choir to support the singing at the service and deliver the important Christmas message. If you enjoy singing and can commit to most of the rehearsal dates then you would be very welcome to join us at All Saints. An ability to read music is useful but not essential.
The rehearsal dates are:
- Thursday 13th, 20th, 27th November
- and Tuesday 2nd, 9th, 16th December
- and an afternoon rehearsal before the service at 2pm.
Rehearsals last just over an hour and will begin at 6:45pm. We hope to be able to welcome some new faces this year. For more information about the choir contact Tricia Gilbert via email: patriciacgilbert66@gmail.com
