See the full update here...

This week’s Sunday worship 15th May 2022 – 5th Sunday of Easter

This week’s Bible readings are Acts 11: 1-18 and John 13: 31-35.

Please join us for our 8am traditional BCP Communion Service. The service will be led by Revd Emma who will also preach.

At our 10am Holy Communion Service there will be groups for our children and young people.  The service will be led by Revd Jack and Revd Emma will preach.  This service will be live streamed. After the service we join for refreshments in our church hall and to enjoy the Youth Bake-Off’s cupcakes

At 11.30/45am, or thereabouts we gather back in our church for our AGM(Annual General Meeting) andAPCM(Annual Parochial Church Meeting) Everyone is welcome to this meeting, and it is hoped that you will come and contribute to the life of All Saints or just learn more about what goes on and stay for lunch and chat afterwards.   The 2021 Annual Report is available via our website: or if you prefer a hard copy, please take one from the carousel in the church welcome area.

We had hoped to stay for a BYO Picnic – however the weather is looking very wet for Sunday morning/lunchtime and so we’ve decided to cancel this time.

Next week’s Sunday worship 22nd May 2022 – 6th Sunday of Easter

The Bible readings are Acts 16: 9-15 and John 14: 23-end.

Please join us for our8am traditional BCP Communion Service. The service will be led by Revd Emma and Revd Jack who will preach.

At our 10am we gather for Morning Worship.  The service will be led by Revd Emma and Revd Jack will preach.  There will be no Holy Communion and the service will not be live streamed.

As part of our worship, we will include a short slot called ‘Moments: God in our everyday’ – this is an opportunity and space for anyone to share either a story, or a word of encouragement, maybe a hymn or song they've been reflecting on, or an answered prayer, or a word of testimony.  Something from the everyday – where God has inspired you, or where you’ve seen God's love and power at work in the ordinariness of life.  So, do have a think and pray and come ready to share.

In celebration of Peggy and David Jenkins

Sadly Peggy and David passed away in 2020 when funeral attendee numbers were limited.  We’d welcome anyone who knew them, to join us for tea and cake and to celebrate their lives in the church hall at 2pm on Sunday 15th May Paul, Helen, and Julia (07860 726034)

On Friday 20th May at 2pm we celebrate the marriage of Sarah and Harry. Please pray for them, their family, and friends, as they approach this special day.

Christian Aid – 15th to 21st May

This year will focus on the problem of drought, which many countries around the world face.  To all deliverers, envelopes are now in church ready to deliver this week please.

People are invited to return their envelopes to the Church Hall on Saturday 21st May from 10am to 12pm where there will also be free refreshments and cakes  This year people can also donate online, using our own QR code.

Or if these options don't suit, you can drop your envelope into church, during daylight hours, to our large red post-box!

26th May- 5th June – 'Thy Kingdom Come'

Beginning on Ascension Day, the church worldwide unites in praying for local communities, and specifically for five (or more!) friends and family to experience God's life-changing love.

As a church, it would be great if each one of us could start thinking about whom we might like to pray for.

During these days, we will slightly alter our Morning Prayer services to focus on praying for our local community, and to pray for our five individuals.   You may like to join us for Morning Prayer, either in person at 8.30am Mon-Fri in church, or as we live stream to our Facebook page or by logging into our website later in the day and joining it at a time that suits you.

Coffee and Chat

At present we open each Tuesday between 9.30-11.30am in our Heath Room to offer a community cuppa for anyone who would like to call in.  We would also like to open again, as we did Pre-Pandemic, for a Thursday morning session.   However, to do this we need more volunteers asap.  If you would like to find out more, or volunteer, please can you contact us.  With thanks,

The Parish Chronicle

The Parish Chronicle relaunched on 1 May. Over 630 issues have been distributed but volunteers are still needed to cover the streets below (138 houses). Please contact Paul if you can assist. Once a year the £6 annual subscription will also need to be collected. Many thanks,
