Churchwardens' Message – 10th May 2020
Churchwardens Update May 2020
A month has passed since we last updated you on life at All Saints Church during lockdown. At that time we were still all getting used to what has now become the ‘new normal’. Somehow social distancing and speaking to friends and family using various apps have become a part of everyday life. It is lovely to hear about how people are keeping in contact with each other and supporting those who are not being able to go out due to shielding. We are very blessed to be part of a very caring Church family and Village community.
We would like to thank Revd. Emma for her continued prayer and pastoral support and the live streaming of Acts of Worship, that have been both uplifting and of comfort to us all. Many people have told us that they really appreciate the phone calls she makes and the chats she has when she is out walking the dog. All of these things, no matter how small are very important in these uncertain times.
Finally we would just like to add that in the coming weeks / months as lockdown measures gradually ease, we will have to find new ways of coming together as a church family. We would value your prayers and support as we, along with Revd. Emma and the PCC, work through these challenges to make All Saints Church a safe place for us all to worship in again.
With every blessing
Amanda & Steve
