An Easter Message from your Churchwardens
At this very challenging time we wanted to reassure everyone that there is a lot going on behind the scenes to make sure the church family of All Saints and the wider community are being supported in whatever way we can. We are in regular contact with Revd. Emma so that we are updated on matters for prayer and to ensure that some of the more practical issues that still have to be addressed are discussed and actioned. We have become ‘a different sort of Church’, in ways we could not have imagined just a few weeks ago. Our priority is to stay in touch by way of virtual Acts of Worship, phone calls, emails and a friendly wave from a distance when out for our daily exercise. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Revd. Emma and everyone who has contributed to the Sunday services, they have been a joy and an inspiration to listen to.
We would like to finish by wishing you all a Happy Easter; it will be different, many of us will not be with family and friends but let us take comfort in the hope that this passage brings:
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” 1 Peter 1:3
