Christmas Carol Service Choir 2025
This year's carol service will be on Friday 19th December starting at 7pm.
As in previous years, we would very much like to form a choir to support the singing at the service and deliver the important Christmas message. If you enjoy singing and can commit to most of the rehearsal dates then you would be very welcome to join us at All Saints. An ability to read music is useful but not essential.
The rehearsal dates are:
- Thursday 13th, 20th, 27th November
- and Tuesday 2nd, 9th, 16th December
- and an afternoon rehearsal before the service at 2pm.
Rehearsals last just over an hour and will begin at 6:45pm. We hope to be able to welcome some new faces this year.
For more information about the choir contact Tricia Gilbert via email: patriciacgilbert66@gmail.com
Distributors needed for the Parish Chronicle
Following confirmation that the chronicle will continue into 2026 new distributors are required commencing 1 January 2026. Thanks to those who have come forward to cover Anmore Rd, Bere Rd and Green Lane. A volunteer is still required to distribute to Hambledon Rd (10 properties). If you are able to assist, please let Paul Over know on 07775706082 or paulover@btinternet.com. In addition, if you wish to receive a copy of the chronicle delivered to your door each month also contact me.
Many thanks, Paul
Coffee and Chat
Coffee and Chat, held every Tuesday morning in the Heath Room, continues to be very popular. It provides an opportunity for people from the village to enjoy a good natter over a nice cup of tea or coffee with a biscuit or two. We have a fabulous team of hosts who, once every six weeks or so, set up the Heath Room and prepare/serve the tea and coffee to the guests. It would be great to welcome one or two new hosts onto the team. If you would be interested in joining the team please speak to me Alistair Johnston, or let Revd. Emma, the Church Wardens or the Church Office know and they will pass the message on. Alistair Johnston
Royal Marines Concert 26th November
Not long till we welcome back His Majesty’s Band of Royal Marines for their annual concert. As in the past we hope to provide light refreshments during the interval, and this is only possible with the generous support of our supporters. If you are available to provide a platter of light bites and nibbles for this event, please pop your name on the list at the back of church. If anyone is also available to help with preparing for the concert or clearing up afterwards, please get in touch. We will need to add additional seating into the church and then replace it after the concert as well as clear up from the interval refreshments. If you have any questions, please get in touch.

Waterlooville Food Bank
As we all start collecting our own Christmas goodies please could we also be mindful that the Waterlooville Food Bank would welcome any Christmassy treats to put alongside the usual store cupboard staples when the Christmas hampers are being filled.
As well as usual daily items, such as tinned meats, pasta etc, items like Mince Pies, Christmas puddings, Christmas cakes, sweets, crisps, nuts and any 'luxury' items will be gratefully received.
Please put any items in the plastic box in the welcome area of church by the 14th December. Please remember that the food bank does not accept alcohol. Many thanks, Karen, Fiona and Peter
