General Notices

THANK YOU! There has been a tremendous response to my request for help in providing refreshments for the Royal Marines Band Concert this Wednesday. There are still a few platters left in the basket at the back of church so please take one if you can – if they all come back full of delicious snacks then we’ll be able to feed the 5,000… well, the large audience at least! Please would you bring your platter to the Church Hall any time after 2pm this Wednesday or leave it in the kitchen clearly marked ‘Concert refreshments’ if you need to leave it earlier. Many thanks again for your help. Gill Barge

Advance Notice: any adults or young people (11 years or over) who would be interested in being Confirmed, please speak to Revd Sandie as we will be starting a Confirmation Preparation course early in 2018.

Bereavement Group will be meeting for lunch on Wednesday 22 November at the White Hart on. Please contact Merrill Partridge on 9226 6159 to book in.

CTD Carol Service is Sunday December 17th 6:00pm. Any singers able to join an ecumenical choir to support the carols and songs for the service please come along, on the following dates, at All Saints Church:

Fri 24 November 7:00pm
Fri 1 December 7:00pm
Fri 8 December 7:00pm
Fri 15 December 7:00pm
Sun 17 December 2:30pm

An ability to read music is useful but not essential. You just need an enthusiastic singing voice and be able to commit to most of the rehearsals, including the final Sunday afternoon. See Tricia Gilbert for more details.
